Sitting at USF even though Classes are over

Well, it’s me again, just sittin here at work study, bored. I had a great weekend though. I hung out with my girlfriend, Aimee.  We decorated my Christmas tree on Monday. On Sunday, I had a guy’s night out with my buddies that pretty much consisted of us eating pizza and playing videogames. So I need to vent that my old bank, Grabill Bank, totally screwed me over with my last check I deposited. Apparently they don’t deposit checks till Tuesday afternoon. My question is simply, do they bank on stone tablets? Well, its over I moved my money over to Chase and I’m a lot happier. I had fun yesterday because me and Aimee went down to Indianapolis for a Christmas/anniversary present. I had a lot of fun because we went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Afterwards, we went to the Circle Centre mall and walked around for a long time. We went and got a late lunch downtown at this restaurant called Ram . Very nice.  It was almost like a Granite City. After all that, we started heading back to Ft. Wayne and stopped in the Hamilton Town Center. I was mad that we couldn’t go see an IMAX movie though, but there weren’t any good movies out to see in IMAX. After we got home I crashed on the couch and woke up around midnight. So that was my exciting Wednesday. Also there are a lot more homeless people in Indy than I originally thought. Well back to school things. Hmm…. well, I’m all done and passed 4/5 of my classes. I just need to start registering for next semester. Well I gotta get back to folding letters, until next time. Cya

Winter Rolling Over

So its finally that time of the year, snow is on the ground. Non-stop christmas music is constantly playing on the radio. Classes are slowly winding down, its crunch time kids. Well I have one final out of the way and my next 4 are all either wed or thurs next week. So you know what that means, more time to study. I also have monday off so I’m very excited to sleep in. I think besides study and work on my car design I might chill with my buddies over the weekend. I’m so excited for when christmas break comes. Right now I’m planning on spending more time with my girlfriend and two weeks from now were going to Indianapolis for a mini road trip. I also will spend some time revising my short stories. I just have to make it through this week and next and I’m done. Last night was fun for me and everyone here in the offices. All the workstudys were taken out to dinner and we shared some laughs. One of the advisors, Josiah Brown, was funny when the waiter walked in and he immediately asked if they had Pepsi products. He also made sure that the table had bread. We were a little disappointed that he filled up on too much bread and couldn’t finish his pizza. Well I gotta go before Rodney see’s me on here, cya.

Snow Under My Feet

Well I’m gonna keep this post short. So far I’ve been having an alright week. Over the weekend me and my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary. Then sunday I worked until 11, yes 11 at 10:30 there were no guests. Except like always people wait till the last minute to leave. I can’t wait for break tomorrow. My two days off will consist of study, eat, and play videogames. My goal for Thanksgiving is to load up on as much food as possible and work my way into a diabetic coma. I wish there was more going on Saint Francis, like when they have free food. But sadly since its been so cold and coming close to the end of the semester people are more focused on other things. Well I’m gonna get back to surfing the internet, cya.

Splintering Soul

Well I’m got dug into a hole I don’t know if I’m getting out. I’m just mad at my parents for college. I haven’t registered and I don’t know if I can get into any classes. But besides that I’m having an awesome week. Parents are gone and I have the house to myself. I know what your thinking, ya party. NO. My parents told the neighbors to watch and make sure I have no parties. I’m in a slump with classes. I’m going to switch banks after work today. I’m going to Chase. I can’t wait for Saturday, me and my girlfriend are spending the whole day together for our anniversary. Just working for the weekend I guess. Well I gotta go, cya.

Frost on the Windows

So its November and December is slowly creeping around the corner. These are trying times my friends I gotta keep focused. So far I’ve been having a good week. Over the weekend I spent time with my girlfriend and worked mostly. I watched Kung Fu Panda and Get Smart Monday night, I loved Kung Fu Panda but Get Smart was good too. I had a test Tuesday and Wednesday, I don’t think I did too bad. Last night I went to Casino Night, definitely not what I expected. I know they couldn’t have real money on the tables, but still. I would’ve liked to see more people and a better setup. It seems like St. Francis needs a lot better advertisement for their activities at night. Because their cookouts during the day are awesome and you always see a bunch of people. Well I’m hoping the next nightout on campus will be a little better. I can’t wait for this Saturday, me and my buddies are going to see Quantum of Solace and get Buffalo Wild Wings before hand. So ya our weekend is gonna rock. Well I gotta get back before Rodney realizes what I’m doing, cya.

2 Days After the Election

Hello, as most of you know we just elected Barack Obama as our next president and I couldn’t be happier. Even though I’m a republican. So besides staying up all night to see Obama take a staggering majority, I’ve been having a good week. Over the weekend I partied with my friends because I haven’t seen them in awhile. I got the results back from my test on Monday and I did surprising well, I got an 80 so ya……. I was very dissapointed that Heroes wasn’t on monday, but It’ll be back next Monday. Let me think hmm what did I do on Tuesday besides watch the election on the internet. O ya I got to sit through the most boring class of the week. I’m starting to dislike comp graphics. Last night was a good night I had all my regular afternoon classes then I walked around campus with my girlfriend. It was also nice because I got to class late for Math, but we still got out like 45 min early. Then I just sat around and enjoyed some I, Robot. I also realized there’s a subtle undertone of children’s stories in that movie. I’m hoping tonight is gonna be a good night because I really just want it to be over with. Well I should be getting back to work before my boss Rodney walks back in. Cya!

Halloween

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Happy halloween to everyone. So hmm so far I’ve been having an amazing week and last week wasn’t too bad either. Last weekend was kind of a bore though I worked all weekend and didn’t get to see my girlfriend, but I did go out to eat with my friends from work and I had a blast. The last few days have been going smooth. Classes are now going into the par range. I’m spending alot more of my freetime hanging with my friends. I also went to putt putt this week, but decided to just stay in the arcade because no one was outside. I had alot of fun yesterday, me and my girlfriend Aimee were going to the halloween party last night. So she put a bunch of makeup on me trying to go for a vampire, but instead I looked more like a mime. Luckily I had my striped shirt on so for an hour I walked around as a mime in public. Amazingly alot of people liked it. I decided to take it off and I went as one of the Lost Boys to the party. The party wasn’t too bad, except everyone was crowding around watching Nightmare Before Christmas. Believe me I love that movie, but I would of liked to see people chatting and dancing. So we decided to leave early. Well, tonight is gonna be a bad night because I have to work late and work early on Saturday. But I’m having a party with all my buddies so it should be fun. Well I should get back to work, cya.

Light at the end of the tunnel

So I’ve been having a stressful week so far. I’ve been juggling my classes with work and studying. I need to get a better study plan. Idk I’m just hoping my week goes by quick and Halloween finally rolls around. I’ve decided to go as a cowboy, mostly because my girlfriend insisted, I think next year I’ll go as “Steven Hawking party cyborg”. I had a pretty fun weekend. Me and my buddies drove out to Columbia City and went to the Haunted Jail. I didn’t think it was that scary, mostly because I’ve been dulled to haunted houses for the most part. I think I’ll rent some scary movies next week and watch them halloween night. Over the weekend I also hung out with my friend from work. Then sunday was pretty smooth because I just worked and had a trainee so it was a pretty easy night. Mon and Tues were not my best days, but Wed was good because I went to Fox Island with a few friends and walked around enjoying the beauty of fall. I like how the leaves are changing on campus too. I might need to take some photos of campus, maybe. Well I gotta get back to work, bye.

Midterms

So this week is my midterm, YEAH! I bet you can’t sense the sarcasm in my writing. So I’ve been having a pretty smooth week. I had a test yesterday and I’m staying optimistic. I also have a test today so I’m gonna study as much as I can before. My weekend was pretty unexciting, all I did was work and study. I’m just hoping the week goes by fast. Oh, I almost forgot I watched How I Met Your Mother and it was legendary. I would talk about Heroes, but I did not like the episode last night. Well I gotta get back to work, bye.

Dusting Off My Shoulders

Oh Hello, its me Coda again. So lets see what has happened between now and last week. Well for starters I went to the concert on thursday night. The band was AG Silver, look them up, and it was a free concert. I walked into North Campus with moderate expectations, but I was blown away. Their songs are very good and they do pretty cool theatrics on stage, be sure to check them out. I felt bad though because like twenty people were there and the band actually asked us to call all our friends to get them to come out.

My weekend was pretty lame, friday night I decided not to go to Homecoming stag so I instead hung out with my friends. Over the weekend I just worked and studied for my upcoming tests, but I did buy Iron Man over the weekend and have been watching it ever since. I recommend to whoever is thinking about buying it, please buy the 2 disc special edition.

Monday morning was pretty lame for me though. I went to class at 11 and got informed I’m going to have two human anatomy tests in the same week. During english I just turned my recorder on and listened to my teacher talk about our research papers. Then I went to math and we went over our homework for about half an hour. I also scheduled an apointment to see my advisor to talk about spring classes. O and I watched Heroes last night and it was amazing, except they had commerical breaks every 10 minutes for 10 minutes. It makes me a little mad that I gotta be on campus even though no one’s here, but I’ll make it. Well gotta get back to work, bye.
